One of the highlights of staying at Parknasilla is to spend a delightful evening dining at The Pygmalion Restaurant.  With a panoramic view of Kenmare Bay and the Caha mountains, it is the perfect place to enjoy a fine dining experience in the ambient light of an evening sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.

George Bernard Shaw, the renowned Irish playwright said, “There is no sincerer love than the love of food.”  We thought it appropriate that The Pygmalion Restaurant should be named after one of his plays and to honour the fact that, back in the day, he was a regular visitor to Parknasilla.

Our executive chef Peter Farndon ensures that the dining experience matches the splendour of the room.

Begin your day in the Pygmalion restaurant with our delicious Irish breakfast. We offer a wide selection of hot Irish favourites like warm porridge and a traditional fry to continental style items including cold meats and cheeses, fruit and freshly baked pastries.

The dinner menu boasts imaginative cuisine highlighting the best modern Irish cuisine with international inspirations, accompanied by the finest selection of wines. Daily Specials afford the diner with added options and choice, ensuring that the dining experience at Parknasilla is never the same

Dining Times

Breakfast is served from 8am - 10.30am midweek and 8am - 11am during the weekend.

We serve an extensive Breakfast Buffet with everything you wish for in a Hearty Traditional Irish Breakfast. Gluten Free options are available.

Dinner service begins at 7pm.

À la Carte Dinner with Chef's Daily Specials are on offer.  Four courses with Appetiser / Main Dish / Dessert with Tea and coffee only €47 per person.
